The Kosnic 18W LED 4 Pin DD Bulb replaces a 38W CFL equivalent. It uses 52% less energy and, with a lifespan of 30,000 hours, lasts up to 3 times longer. One of the benefits of this Kosnic lamp is its option for plug-in conversion into an emergency light; a special socket and green LED is included for this purpose. The conversion pack is available separately from Lyco.

Certified with an A+ energy rating, the Kosnic 18W LED 4 Pin DD Bulb emits 1600 lumens of 6500K cool white daylight-coloured light in a 120° flood beam. An impressive luminous efficacy of 88 lumens per watt is specified together with a peak luminous intensity of 530 candelas.
Other benefits of the Kosnic 18W LED 4 Pin DD Bulb over fluorescent equivalents include instant full-power start, high tolerance of frequent switching, negligible UV or IR output, no mercury content, reliable low-temperature performance (down to -20°C), resistance to shock and vibration. Please note that this bulb is non-dimmable, unlike typical 4-pin CFL 2D lamps.
To achieve maximum energy savings with the Kosnic 18W LED 4 Pin DD Bulb, the control gear of the fitting should be bypassed during installation for direct supply from the mains.
